JSC 'Telasi" has published its operational indicators for the year 2024.

In compliance with the decision of Georgian National Energy and Water Supply Regulatory Commission (GNERC), the volume of investment in 2024 reached the record level. Last year, the investment volume, including new connections made to the network, exceeded GEL 160 mln, which is higher by 250% than the same indicator for the year 2023. The mentioned decision enabled the company to successfully implement the projects, aimed to improve Tbilisi power supply quality and reliability.
Within the framework of the investment program the important activities were carried out for reconstruction and modernization of basic equipment of the HV and LV substations and 110/35/10/6/04 power transmission lines. The preparatory works related to SCADA system implementation and Krtsanisi substation construction project are in progress.
Basic equipment was reconstructed and modernized at the substations “Makhata”, “Sanapiro”, “Digomi-2”, “Aeroporti”, “Navtlugi-2”, “Saburtalo-1”. The power transformers T1 and T2 were replaced at substation “Digomi-2”. Full reconstruction-modernization of four central distribution points - CDP -0417, CDP-0080, CDP -5060 and CDP -3614 – is completed. The reconstruction-modernization works were carried out on 35 kV power transmission lines “Lilo-1-2”, 110 kV power transmission lines “Digomi-102”, “Digomi-103” and cable power transmission lines, 136 km in total.
In 2024 JSC “Telasi” distributed 3,757 mlrd kV*h power, which exceeds by 8,5% (293 mln kV*h) the volume of the power distributed in 2023. The mentioned increase is the result of economic activities in the country and growing number of new customers.
As to the data of December 2024, the number of JSC “Telasi” customers, in comparison with the same period of the year 2023, increased by 4% (29,8 thousand customers) and made 780,7 thousand customers, out which 699,1 thousand is physical entities and 81,6 thousand – legal entities.
According to the data of the year 2024, the general length of the company’s power transmission lines equals 7 153 km, which is more by 4,4% (299 km) than the indicator for the year 2023 (6 854 km). The general length of the company’s power transmission lines increased as the result of the network development and performed reconstruction and modernization works.
