
Company “Telasi” has accomplished the first stage of substation “Plateau Nutsubidze” reconstruction and upgrade works.
In the scope of reconstruction and modernization of substation “Plateau Nutsubidze” project the rehabilitation of the first and second sections of 10kV indoor switchgears is being performed.
At present rehabilitation of the first section of indoor switchgear was carried out – the out-of-date oil circuit breakers were replaced by the modern vacuum circuit breakers, all the construction works were completed and the section was set into operation.
Realization of the second stage of program began on October 3. The rehabilitation works of the indoor switchgear second section shall be accomplished during a month.
“The purpose of above works is to increase reliability and efficiency of electric power supply for the customers. Finally, the level of equipment technical maintenance will be increased, number of technical incidents in the grid will be reduced”- said the Technical Director of JSC “Telasi” Vakhtan Kinkladze.
